I want a boyfriend / give haircuts to my dog, advice?

I have mixed poodle who passed a week ago. He is so big. I like to cut He and his fur grows. I feel I can do, as I cut the hair of people and very good to him, and hes really good to me! I know someone who can do, if I mess up. Do you think this is going to be okay? for me to do it myself? What type of cutting machines do you recommend? I, of course, will use a piece of thing …. not sure what is called, but the Clippers are going to help get the hair of the same length. Can I by a human slicers, or different animals? Any advice? Thanks! i dont want to take him to a beauty salon as I can.

I use the Andis slicers with disposable blades. Pet Edge is a good place to buy computers. Most slicers cheapest you can buy only their heads are adjustable not leave the coat long.
